Evangelist D. Clemons in ServiceThe outreach ministry provides avenues beyond the four walls of the church to fish. Matt 4:19 says "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." There are many species of fish found in different bodies of water the seas, oceans, rivers, lakes and swamps. Jesus did not choose where to save souls. He was led by the spirit to reach the lost. Our goal is to reach men and women who are behind bars. Luke 14:23 says "Then the master said to the servants, Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in that my house may be filled." Prison ministry allows us to reach the hearts of men and women along the highways and in the hedges and bring them into the knowledge of Christ through the Holy Spirit. The difference between an offender and a free man is God's grace. GOD's love is so rich, we have to let all men and women know that in spite of who they are or what they have done GOD is always near and ready to forgive. Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." |
